Customize VM name

Attention: We suggest using the default method and not changing it until it’s highly required.

On AutoVM admin area, go to Settings -> Configuration.

Edit machine.clue option.

You can change it like these methods:

Mike_@clue_@address
Mike_@address_@clue
@address_@clue

Attention: Do not remove @clue

Attention: If you use @address and the VM IP address has been changed, the VM name won’t be updated automatically.
