Create template

Install Operating System with only one partition (without swap or separate home partition)

Install Vmware tools on the OS and remove the network adapter.

Note: On Linux distros, add password on the root user and allow ssh root login.
On Windows OS, enable the remote desktop, then enable ping from the firewall settings.
Do not change keyboard layout or language, It should be English and qwerty.

Then go to the AutoVM admin area and select the List templates option.

Enter the name you want to show to the clients in the name section.

Enter the Operating system VM name from the hypervisor on the Clue section.

Then go to the List script and click on create button.

Follow the section like other templates scripts to add your customized template.
